About the Railway
The Evesham Vale Light Railway runs daily during school holidays and every weekend throughout the year. Click here for operating dates.
Trains are usually steam hauled and travel for over a mile through the old apple orchards and around the country park, stopping briefly at Evesham Vale Station. Here you can take a break from your journey to have a picnic, walk to the river Avon or just enjoy the views overlooking some of the most picturesque scenery the Vale of Evesham has to offer.
Departure and Travel Times
First train is at 10.30am with the last train at 5.00pm during summer time, and 4.00pm during winter time.
Trains depart at half hourly intervals, and the return journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
On Bank Holidays and Sundays we run a 20 minute service, the two train operation enabling you to experience the journey behind a variety of locomotives.

Discounted ticket prices for advanced booking for 20+ passengers. Seats reserved on a particular train.
Special bookings can be made for non-operating days (minimum charges apply).
